If there are any positives to come out of the current 'lockdown' situation, surely one of them is the way that people have been moved in compassion and generosity towards one another. This impulse points to something deeply true about what it means to be fully a human being, made in the image of God. Generosity is key to understanding the heart of God and to unlocking an authentic and life-giving response to Him.
