Whilst our desire for ’stuff’ has been intensified over the past century through the rise of consumerism, the prioritising of material possessions was just as relevant in Jesus’ time when he preached his Sermon on the Mount. This week, Nick looks at four passages that call for us to prioritise our love for God and others over our love for ’treasures on earth’.
