We continued to look at the events related in the Gospels that happened after Jesus’ Resurrection. Jamie reflected on the women who first discovered the empty tomb: However, unfortunately the history of women in the church since then has often been one of marginalisation.
He also delved deeper into the story of Thomas, and how the experience of ‘missing’ Jesus might have affected him. This led into a time of ministry, where we sought God’s healing for those moments where we and others have experienced disappointment, rejection and marginalisation.
